The best way to assure your messages are received in a secure environment is to message through the patient portal.

If you have questions or concerns between appointments, please make a list of those questions/concerns to bring to your next appointment. This will ensure you receive the undivided attention you deserve and that we don’t miss anything.

For your own privacy, please do not include confidential health information in emails. In including confidential information in a non-secure email message you acknowledge that this form of communication is not secure and agree to not hold Anna Bausum. ND liable.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. We know keeping on track with your health goals is important to you. At the same time, we understand that things come up, so if you need to reschedule, please do so prior to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

A missed appointment impacts the day’s schedule and other’s ability to access services provided by Anna Bausum, ND. As such, we require 48-hour notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. **Patients who provide less than 48-hour notice, or miss their appointment, will not receive a refund of their consult fee. Please remember that failure to appear for your consult prevents others from receiving care.

If you have a change in your schedule, please communicate such in a timely manner in order to be rescheduled and have the money you have already paid be applied to your newly scheduled consult time and date.

Anna Bausum, ND has the right to refuse service if all intake paperwork and consents are not completed prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Credit Card Payment

Applicable fees associated with the use of a credit card for services purchased through this site are fees to be paid by the purchaser.

Financial Policy

Payment in full is due at time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Your financial responsibility to us will be your cash fee and the purchase of services is nonrefundable. By scheduling a service, you acknowledge the terms. 

Text and Email Disclosure

There are times when Anna Bausum, ND will deem it appropriate to correspond via email or messages. Please understand that this additional correspondence is at the discretion of the provider, and that the provider may at any point deem it necessary to schedule an appointment in order to do justice to the concerns and questions at hand.

Correspondence in the form of email is intended for clarification on your current plan, updating your provider about your current conventional treatment with other healthcare providers, or for questions that can be answered in brief. If you have a matter that requires immediate attention, or a new concern that requires a scheduled consultation. As always, please address any medical emergencies by calling 911.

Email messages will be responded to within 2-3 business days as the provider’s schedule allows. In the event that you do not hear back within 2-3 business days, please reach again as it is possible in rare circumstances that a correspondence may not have reached the intended recipient.

Questions that are being addressed outside of scheduled video/phone visit may incur a fee if provider time is being allocated to answer through message communication. Please be aware that continued, extensive email communications outside of scheduled consults may be billed by the provider at an hourly rate based on time spent on the correspondence with a minimum charge of $50.

Changes to these terms and policies

We may update our terms, disclaimers, and policies as needed. It is your responsibility to check periodically for these changes.
